Billian I.P. holds several patents for innovative asphalt technologies. The products have been produced and marketed by multinational corporations, local businesses and our own plants for many years. We focus on developing products and processes that solve environmental and logistical problems, while providing asphalt pavements that meet all specifications and provide excellent performance during manufacture, construction and on the road. Our products can be used in hot mix asphalt as well as warm mix asphalt.
Billian I.P. licenses our patents and other technologies, and we oversee your building of the equipment to manufacture the products. For our licensees, we provide consultation for turnkey systems, including tire shredder plants, asphalt/rubber blender units, Paving Pellet™ pelleting equipment and field mixer units that heat the rock, add the Paving Pellets and make the asphalt hot (or warm) mix. GTR PELLETED ASPHALT BINDER : Our process is significantly more efficient than other wet process asphalt rubber. It reacts high quality liquid asphalt and waste ground tire rubber, blends in lime anti-strip, and manufactures soft-to-the-touch, free-flowing pellets that don’t stick to each other, truck beds, or storage containers. They do, however, stick very well when mixed with hot aggregates. |

EZ-Tackote™ Pellets of hard asphalt for use as a tack coat to bond lifts of asphalt pavement. They may also be used for pre-coating chips for surface treatments. |

EZ-Lime™ Hydrated lime pelletized with asphaltic binder greatly reduces the dust, fines and inhalation hazards associated with conventional lime addition. EZ-Lime can be added at several points in the mixing process, including through the RAP feeder. Hydrated Lime (HL) is one of the best known anti-strips for hot mix asphalt, preventing potholes and other moisture damage in the field. |

ODOR-B-GONE™ A low cost "deodorant" for asphalt oil/hot mix improves the environment for workers and neighbors, reducing odors and neighbor complaints. One half gallon of this patent-pending liquid treats 5,000 gallons of asphalt bitumen. |

Our Newest Technologies
We continuously improve and develop new products and processes. Our newest products are under development with field trials scheduled in 2010 and commercial availability in 2011.
EZ-Bitumen Asphalt cement, lime and polymer shell pelletized for use in asphalt pavements.
Shingle Pellets Ground roofing asphalt shingle waste pre-reacted with bio-asphalt oil in pellet form for use in standard asphalt pavements.
Coming Soon - EZ-Pave A complete paving mixture of EZ-Tackote™ Paving Pellets™ and aggregate that can be stored outside at ambient temperatures until it is heated to make standard asphalt hot mix. It can be placed on the roadway or other area to be paved and heated with a field burner, preferably an infrared heater. EZ-Pave will be an economical way to pave rural roadways and parking areas with a small crew with a microwave or infrared heater. Watch for it!
